    Welcome to another post about the Cosmos, my favorite flower in our backyard. These pictures are from 2024, and like mentioned in the previous post, I have decided to transfer my notes on the insects pictured here to my website. Additionally, I have done my best (using google) to identify the species, but there may be mistakes. Enjoy! House Cat: Felis Catus.     Tall Yellow Sulphur Cosmos. Scientific Name: Cosmos sulphureus. We have been growing these flowers in our garden for a long time, and they have always been very popular within our backyard insect community. I have also been taking pictures (to the best of my ability, using an iPhone 6) of these little visitors for a couple years now, but I decided to begin uploading the pictures and notes online rather than let it sit in my phone, or simply writing it in my journal.     The Sorcerer of the North

    Comics are a new form of books I have been to really get into. And because of that, I have tried my hand at cartooning. This is a full comic I drew for an English assignment.  The idea for the project eluded me for a couple weeks, but once I got it, I had the script for dialogue done in two hours. I would attribute my ENTIRE view of storytelling to two books: The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern, and Labyrinths by Jorge Luis Borges.
